Position Overview
This Transport Coordinator role at CEVA Logistics involves coordinating daily deliveries and pickups, monitoring time windows and ramp utilization, maintaining direct contact with freight forwarders, drivers and operational teams, handling transport disruptions and escalations, maintaining transport-relevant data in YMS/WMS systems, tracking transport metrics, and contributing ideas to optimize transport and yard processes.

Key Responsibilities
Delivery & Pickup Coordination
- Coordinate daily deliveries and pickups at the Frankfurt (Oder) location
- Ensure a smooth process between drivers, yard and warehouse teams
- Monitor time windows, loading dates and ramp utilization
Communication & Stakeholder Management
- Maintain direct contact with freight forwarders, drivers and operational teams
- Quickly manage delays, changes or shifting priorities
- Work closely with planning, operations, and customer transport departments
Yard & Ramp Optimization
- Assist in the optimal use of loading and unloading ramps
- Ensure an efficient flow of traffic on the company premises
- Contribute ideas for optimizing transport processes and yard operations
Disruption Handling & Data Management
- Handle transport disruptions such as delays, non-deliveries or capacity bottlenecks
- Initiate appropriate escalations when necessary
- Maintain transport-relevant data in systems such as YMS, WMS or booking tools
- Assist in evaluating and tracking transport metrics, including deadline adherence and lead times
Qualifications & Requirements
Educational Requirements
- Completed vocational training in logistics, freight forwarding, or a comparable qualification
Experience Requirements
- Initial professional experience in transport coordination, scheduling, or warehouse logistics
- Experience in a comparable operational function is welcomed
Essential Skills
- Organizational talent with a structured and solution-oriented way of working
- Strong communication skills and ability to maintain overview in a dynamic environment
- Rapid responsiveness to short-term changes in day-to-day business
- Basic knowledge of warehouse, yard, or transport management systems (WMS, YMS)
- Willingness to work shifts
