Coordination: Freight forwarders, Inventory section, and Main Stores issue counter

Position Overview
This Logistics & Store Officer role ensures store activities such as parts issuing, receiving, binning, preloading, and housekeeping in the IFE store, alongside tasks related to shipping/receiving of equipment and piece parts. You will provide administrative support for IFE Repair Shop Technical Publications and Maintenance Records, working in a multinational, multicultural warehouse environment with availability for shift-pattern work as required.

Key Responsibilities
Store Operations & Parts Handling
- Receive, bin, and issue IFE spare parts
- Check for damages, shortages, and incorrect materials, reporting to the Supervisor
- Ensure correct labeling for parts requiring binning/issuing
- Fill the material pick slip and arrange distribution (issue counter)
ERP & Inventory Management
- Release IFE spare parts through the ERP system
- Assist in performing inspections of incoming materials/parts
- Perform cycle counting/stock verification on weekly, monthly, or annual schedules
- Process bad stock items and route for investigation to Thales as deemed necessary
Critical Parts & AOG Coordination
- Handle receipts and issues of critical requirements on top priority
- Monitor and order critical parts as needed
- Monitor parts with life expiration requirements
- Coordinate with Main Stores issue counter regarding AOG/CRITICAL items
Logistics & Shipping Coordination
- Coordinate with freight forwarders regarding shipments and incoming CRITICAL items
- Coordinate with the Inventory section regarding discrepancies, excess, or misplaced items
- Notify the supervisor of any stock discrepancies
Safety & Documentation Support
- Carry out duties in conjunction with Safety, Health, and Environment regulations
- Provide administrative support for IFE Repair Shop Technical Publications and Maintenance Records
Qualifications & Requirements
Educational Requirements
- High National School Certificate (HNC) or equivalent
Experience Requirements
- Minimum of 2 to 5 years of stock/inventory management experience
Essential Skills
- Good oral and written skills in English
- General knowledge of logistics, warehousing procedures, and statutory regulations
- Computer literacy (Excel, Access, Word, Email, Database)
Working Conditions
- Ability to work in a multinational, multicultural, and complex environment
- Required to work in a warehouse environment
- Availability to work in shift patterns as and when required
