Position Overview
This ELV Package Manager — Audiovisual role at ALEC Technologies in Abu Dhabi covers the complete AV and ELV package lifecycle across large-scale construction projects. You will manage and review system designs, architecture, network topology, and integration strategies, lead the AV engineering team through technical submittals and shop drawings, coordinate with ICT, ELV, MEP, Architectural, Structural, and Acoustic disciplines, drive ELV system integration with BMS, Fire Alarm, ICT, AV, and Smart Building platforms, oversee site execution, monitor progress, manage risks, and ensure successful testing, commissioning, QA/QC, and handover across every project stage.

Key Responsibilities
End-to-End AV & ELV Package Delivery
- Lead the complete delivery of AV and ELV packages from design, installation, testing, and commissioning through to final handover
- Manage and review system designs, architecture, network topology, equipment layouts, and integration strategies
- Oversee site execution activities, ensuring adherence to approved designs, quality standards, safety requirements, and project schedules
- Ensure successful testing, commissioning, documentation, QA/QC compliance, and preparation of handover and closeout deliverables
AV Engineering Team Leadership & Documentation
- Lead the AV engineering team and oversee the preparation and approval of technical submittals, shop drawings, and project documentation
- Coordinate with manufacturers, suppliers, and vendors to ensure compliance, interoperability, and successful implementation of technologies
- Resolve complex technical and integration issues, ensuring system compatibility and optimal performance across all platforms
- Provide regular technical and progress reports to project leadership throughout the delivery lifecycle
Multidisciplinary Coordination & BMS Integration
- Coordinate with ICT, ELV, MEP, Architectural, Structural, and Acoustic disciplines to ensure fully integrated and clash-free solutions
- Drive the integration of ELV systems with BMS, Fire Alarm, ICT, AV, and Smart Building platforms across the project
- Monitor project progress, manage risks and delays, and implement corrective actions to maintain schedule and quality performance
- Ensure all AV and ELV installations are fully coordinated and compatible across the complete building systems ecosystem
Risk Management & Stakeholder Communication
- Monitor project risks and delays across the AV and ELV package and provide timely mitigation and escalation
- Manage client-facing communication, ensuring stakeholder expectations are aligned with delivery milestones and technical outcomes
- Coordinate with project management and procurement teams to ensure timely resource, material, and equipment availability
- Apply excellent stakeholder management skills to maintain trust and confidence at all project levels
Qualifications & Requirements
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering or technology discipline
- CTS-D (Certified Technology Specialist — Design) and/or CTS-I (Installation) certifications are highly desirable
- AV programming and commissioning expertise is a strong additional advantage
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 7 years of experience delivering AV and ELV systems on large-scale construction projects (REQUIRED)
- Extensive experience delivering Audio Visual and ELV systems across mega-projects is highly desirable
- Proven leadership, team management, and end-to-end project delivery expertise
- Strong knowledge of system integration, multidisciplinary coordination, and smart building technologies
Essential Technical Skills
- Deep technical understanding of AV distribution systems, unified communications, control systems, and audio networking protocols such as Dante
- Strong knowledge of ELV integration with BMS, Fire Alarm, ICT, AV, and Smart Building platforms
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities for complex AV/ELV technical challenges
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and client-facing skills across technical and non-technical audiences
