Position Overview
This Supply Chain Controller role at Glow25 in Germany builds modern supply chain controlling from the ground up, acting as Business Partner for Operations, Supply Chain, and Procurement. You will take responsibility for inventory valuation, develop inventory controlling, build transparency over stock levels and goods movements, analyze central KPIs including COGS, logistics costs, and forecast accuracy, support budgeting and forecasting, build dashboards and reporting structures, create business cases for operational decisions on suppliers and logistics structures, and identify cost and working capital optimization opportunities along the value chain.

Key Responsibilities
Inventory Controlling & Financial Transparency
- Take responsibility for inventory valuation and continuously develop inventory controlling
- Build transparency over stock levels, goods movements, and their financial impact on the business
- Identify cost and working capital optimization potential along the entire value chain
KPI Analysis & Supply Chain Reporting
- Analyze central Supply Chain and Operations KPIs including inventory levels, COGS, logistics costs, and forecast accuracy
- Build dashboards, reporting structures, and KPIs — and continuously develop them further
- Create business cases for operational decisions on suppliers, logistics structures, and inventory strategies
Business Partnering — Operations, Supply Chain & Procurement
- Act as Business Partner for Operations, Supply Chain, and Procurement teams
- Bring financial perspectives into operational decisions and ensure financial impacts are understood across functions
- Support budget planning, forecasts, and operational financial planning
Qualifications & Requirements
Educational Requirements
- Completed degree in Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain Management, Economics, or a comparable field
Experience Requirements
- Several years of professional experience in Controlling, Operations Finance, Supply Chain Analytics, or Consulting
- Relevant experience with inventory, cost structures, or operational KPIs
- Ideally prior experience with ERP systems or financial planning systems
Technical Skills
- Very strong knowledge of Excel or Google Sheets — daily working tools in this role
- Experience with BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau — or strong motivation to develop this quickly
- Analytical thinking, data-driven working style, and ability to present complex relationships clearly
