Position Overview
This Team Lead, Supplier Operations role leads the team day-to-day, coaching members to grow and take real ownership of their work. You will streamline how the team collects and formats supplier data, champion an automation mindset by identifying tasks solvable with technology and AI, own the Syndigo PIM system as the key business super-user, shift the team’s focus from fixing errors to building automated validations upfront, connect across internal functions while keeping external supplier communication clear, and establish practical team KPIs and SLAs.

Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Coaching
- Lead the team day-to-day, coaching them to grow, build confidence, and take real ownership over their work
- Balance daily operational workload with ongoing improvement projects, ensuring capacity is distributed fairly
Process Streamlining & Automation
- Streamline how the team collects and formats supplier data, spotting inefficiencies
- Champion an automation mindset by identifying repetitive tasks solvable with technology and AI tools
- Shift the team’s focus from fixing errors to setting up smart controls and automated validations upfront
PIM System Ownership
- Own the PIM system (Syndigo) as the key business super-user
- Work closely with the internal Tech team to help improve the tool
Cross-Functional Coordination & Performance Tracking
- Connect the dots across various internal functions while keeping communication clean with external suppliers
- Establish practical team KPIs and SLAs to track operational health, onboarding speed, and data accuracy
Qualifications & Requirements
Leadership & Experience Requirements
- Real leadership drive and high emotional intelligence to guide a team
- Hands-on operational experience in Master Data Management (MDM), e-commerce product data, or supply operations
- Experience managing projects, optimizing processes, or driving business-side system implementations
Technical Skills
- Comfort with PIM/MDM platforms; experience with Syndigo is a big plus
- Ability to translate operational needs into technical language for tech teams
- AI and tech-first mindset, naturally looking for ways to eliminate manual work
Essential Skills
- Resilience and adaptability, staying grounded when priorities shift
- Strong problem-solving skills, balancing fine operational detail with big-picture thinking
- Excellent communication skills in English; German is a plus
