The engineer interacts directly with key customer stakeholders to apply pioneering AI solutions, builds scalable data pipelines and integrates industrial sensor networks, optimises application performance and reliability for production, mentors junior engineers, monitors deployed applications globally, and works directly with customer engineers and subject matter experts to tune applications delivering tangible, measurable outcomes.

Innovate & Deploy — AI Solutions at Institutional Scale
- Design, develop, and deploy advanced software solutions integrating AI to automate complex, manual processes in government and industrial sectors
- Utilise modern web frameworks, microservices architecture, and cloud computing to build applications applying AI to intricate optimisation challenges
- Work directly with customer stakeholders to develop product specifications and build from zero
Make a Big Impact — Customer-Facing Engineering
- Interact directly with key customer stakeholders — government officials, ministers, AI researchers, and engineers — applying pioneering AI solutions
- Understand complex business challenges and deliver software solutions powered by AI across government, healthcare, and energy sectors
- Wear many hats: software development, product management, sales interaction, and interpersonal stakeholder management
Optimise, Scale & Lead
- Build scalable data pipelines, integrate industrial sensor networks, optimise application performance and reliability for production deployment
- Stay current with the latest developments in software engineering and AI — share knowledge through code reviews and best practices

Qualifications & Requirements
Essential Requirements
- Eagerness to travel to customer locations globally for 6+ months — working directly with SMEs and end-users
- Minimum 2+ years of experience with an appetite for building directly from zero with customers
- Experience with front-end and back-end technologies, microservices, and cloud platforms
- Experience with modern web tooling: React, TypeScript, RESTful APIs, and database management systems
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a proactive approach to challenges
- Collaborative, cross-functional team player who thrives in fast-paced, high-demand environments
- Willingness to own problems end-to-end and acquire any necessary knowledge to get the job done
Nice to Have
- Experience in on-site engineering roles — Forward-Deployed Engineer, Solutions Engineer, Integration Engineer, or Customer Engineer
- Knowledge of Arabic or other regional languages is a plus
- Strong foundation in software design principles, data structures, and algorithms
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
