Position Overview
This Pavement Engineer role at RoadVision AI analyses pavement condition data, road imagery, and survey outputs, assesses pavement distresses including cracking, rutting, potholes, roughness, and surface deterioration, validates AI-generated pavement assessments and recommends improvements, supports pavement management, maintenance planning, and rehabilitation projects, prepares technical reports and engineering documentation, collaborates with AI, GIS, product, and engineering teams, and supports client projects and technical discussions across global road infrastructure markets.

Key Responsibilities
Pavement Condition Analysis & Distress Assessment
- Analyse pavement condition data, road imagery, and survey outputs from AI and traditional assessment systems
- Assess pavement distresses including cracking, rutting, potholes, roughness, and surface deterioration against engineering standards
- Validate AI-generated pavement assessments and provide improvement recommendations based on engineering expertise
Maintenance Planning, Reporting & Rehabilitation
- Support pavement management, maintenance planning, and rehabilitation projects for road agencies globally
- Prepare technical reports, engineering recommendations, and project documentation
- Interpret pavement survey data and convert insights into clear, actionable recommendations for road authorities
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Client Support
- Collaborate with AI, GIS, product, and engineering teams to improve road assessment methodology and technology
- Support client projects and technical discussions across global road infrastructure markets
- Conduct field assessments or site visits when required to validate AI system performance on real road networks
Skills & Qualifications
Essential Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or Pavement Engineering
- Strong understanding of pavement design, maintenance, rehabilitation, and asset management principles
- Knowledge of pavement condition assessment methodologies and international engineering standards
- Strong analytical, technical writing, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to interpret pavement survey data and convert insights into actionable recommendations
- Personal laptop and smartphone with reliable internet connectivity — mandatory
