Position Overview
This Data Scientist role builds real estate market models applied to valuation and pricing, from classic supervised ML through to advanced techniques. You will create multimodal embeddings combining images, text, and structured listing attributes to power search, matching, deduplication, and recommendations; use SQL and Python to extract, clean, and analyze data; design experiments and evaluate model impact; ship models to production with monitoring and CI/CD; and partner with product, engineering, and operations teams to translate business problems into scalable ML solutions.

Key Responsibilities
Real Estate Modelling & ML
- Build models applied to challenges such as real estate valuation and pricing, leveraging techniques from classic supervised ML to advanced approaches
- Create vector representations (multimodal embeddings) of real estate entities combining images, text, and structured attributes for search, matching, deduplication, and recommendations
Data Analysis, Experimentation & Production
- Use SQL and Python to extract, clean, and analyze data; design experiments and evaluate model-product impact with robust metrics
- Ship models to production with capabilities including monitoring, automated rollout, and CI/CD in partnership with engineering
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with product, engineering, and operations teams to translate business problems into scalable ML solutions
- Communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders; scope, prioritize, and explain tradeoffs
Qualifications & Requirements
Experience Requirements
- 4–8 years of proven experience in applied data science or ML, delivering models that move real-world KPIs
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field; Master’s degree is a plus
Essential Technical Skills
- Strong SQL and Python proficiency — Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn — building reliable data pipelines, model training, and evaluation
- MLOps fundamentals: deploying and maintaining models (batch or real-time), versioning, CI/CD basics, observability, and reproducible training
- Comfortable with uncertainty, data quality issues, leakage risks, and market dynamics such as location, seasonality, and inventory shifts

- Software engineering experience
- Multimodal or computer vision experience
- Voice AI exposure (ASR/NLU)
