Position Overview
This Expeditor role involves expediting purchase orders to ensure timely procurement and delivery, coordinating with local and international suppliers to monitor order progress, identifying delays and implementing recovery plans, maintaining real-time ERP/SAP records, serving as the primary contact between suppliers and internal departments, coordinating transportation across air, sea and land freight, and ensuring compliance with security, warehouse and Health & Safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities
Purchase Order Expediting
- Expedite Purchase Orders to ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials
- Coordinate with local and international suppliers to monitor order progress and shipment readiness
- Identify potential delays, implement recovery plans and escalate issues per company procedures
- Provide timely progress updates and maintain accurate real-time ERP/SAP records
Supplier & Stakeholder Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact between suppliers, Procurement, Logistics, Warehouse, Engineering, Finance and End Users
- Monitor supplier performance, resolve delivery and documentation issues, and support supplier evaluations
Logistics & Freight Coordination
- Coordinate transportation planning and freight movements across air, sea and land
- Work with freight forwarders and internal logistics teams for cost-effective, timely deliveries
- Coordinate warehouse receiving activities and manage shipment exceptions and regulatory compliance
Service Delivery & Compliance
- Deliver expediting services supporting global suppliers, operational outages and emergencies
- Maintain resource planning including shift coverage and business continuity
- Ensure compliance with cybersecurity, security, warehouse and Health & Safety requirements
- Prepare supplier performance reports and management updates
Qualifications & Requirements
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain Management or equivalent
Experience Requirements
- Previous experience in procurement expediting, supply chain or logistics
- Preferably within manufacturing, industrial, energy or infrastructure environments in the UAE
Essential Skills
- Fluent communication skills
