This role maximizes customer satisfaction, optimizes productivity, maintains stock accuracy, and runs efficient shifts across Deliveroo’s network of delivery-only “dark kitchens.”

Position Overview
This Editions Site Team Leader role involves leading the team and working closely with site management to achieve company goals, supervising SOP compliance through coaching, communicating professionally with Deliveroo riders, operating and overseeing dispatch to minimize mistakes during peak periods, driving food safety and site cleanliness standards, maintaining good relations with external parties, completing H&S checks, and supervising accurate timekeeping.

Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Shift Management
- Lead the team, working closely with site management to achieve all company objectives and goals
- Effectively prioritise tasks and activities on shift while staying hands-on
Compliance & Coaching
- Supervise compliance with company standard operating procedures (SOPs) through robust supervision and impactful coaching
Dispatch & Rider Communication
- Communicate professionally and effectively with Deliveroo riders
- Operate and oversee dispatch, ensuring accurate handling of orders and minimising mistakes over peak periods
- Ensure all deliveries are handled in line with company expectations and policies
Site Standards & Safety
- Drive strong standards, adhering to food safety and compliance for a clean, tidy site environment
- Maintain good relations with neighbours, landlords and contractors to uphold Deliveroo’s reputation
- Complete H&S checks and ensure employees adhere to company policies throughout shifts
- Supervise accurate timekeeping, ensuring breaks and working time requirements are followed
Qualifications & Requirements
Experience Requirements
- Previous experience in a similar environment preferred but not essential
- Proven track record of consistently hitting KPI targets
- Demonstrated leadership and experience training other associates
Essential Skills
- Strong hands-on mentality and results orientation
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to run shifts independently
- Good communication skills and proficiency in both written and spoken English
- Right to work locally
