  • Implement and manage ISO 22000 or other relevant food safety certification systems
  • Conduct regular food safety audits and inspections across all restaurant locations
  • Monitor Critical Control Points (CCPs) and verify HACCP plan effectiveness

Quality Assurance & Control

  • Establish and enforce quality standards for food preparation, handling, storage, and service

Requirements

The ideal candidate for this food quality manager position must meet:

Educational Requirements (PREFERRED)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or Food Engineering
  • OR Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management with food safety specialization
  • OR Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology, Food Microbiology, or Applied Microbiology
  • OR Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related scientific field
  • OR Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or Food & Nutrition

Professional Experience (MANDATORY)

  • Minimum 3-5 years of proven experience in food quality control or food safety management
  • Preferably in quick-service restaurant (QSR) chains, fast-casual dining, or multi-unit F&B operations
  • Experience with food & beverage chains, restaurant groups, or hospitality food operations highly advantageous
  • Track record of successful HACCP implementation and food safety program management

Technical Knowledge & Skills (MANDATORY)

  • Strong knowledge of food safety standards including HACCP principles and implementation
  • Solid understanding of ISO 22000 or other food safety management system standards
  • Deep knowledge of UAE local food laws, Dubai Municipality regulations, and food safety legislation
  • Expertise in food microbiology, foodborne pathogens, and contamination control
