Position Overview
This Junior Instrumentation Engineer role at Saipem in Abu Dhabi assists in instrumentation design and engineering activities, supports the preparation of datasheets, drawings, and technical documentation, assists with BOQs, MTOs, and material requisitions, participates in P&ID reviews and project design activities, coordinates with multidisciplinary teams to support project execution, ensures compliance with quality, safety, and HSE requirements, and provides support during construction, commissioning, and start-up phases of major energy and infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities
Instrumentation Design & Technical Documentation
- Assist in instrumentation design and engineering activities on major energy and infrastructure projects
- Support the preparation of datasheets, drawings, and technical documentation for instrumentation systems
- Assist with Bill of Quantities (BOQs), Material Take-Offs (MTOs), and material requisitions
P&ID Reviews & Project Design Activities
- Participate actively in P&ID (Piping and Instrumentation Diagram) reviews and project design activities
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to support seamless project execution across disciplines
HSE Compliance & Site Support
- Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and HSE requirements throughout all instrumentation activities
- Provide engineering support during construction, commissioning, and start-up phases of energy projects
Qualifications & Requirements
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Instrumentation Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electro-Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Mechatronics Engineering — from an accredited university
- Fresh graduates are welcome — no prior work experience required
