Position Overview
As Logistics Specialist, you support the efficient handling of logistics processes across goods receiving, goods issue, pre-sterile inspection, order picking, and warehouse operations. Through careful, detail-oriented work, you help ensure agreed quality, safety, and process standards are met while reliably supporting Johnson & Johnson’s internal warehouse and distribution teams in the delivery of high-quality medical devices.

Key Responsibilities
Goods Receiving & Quality Inspection
- Perform goods receiving inspection and booking of incoming goods per work instructions
- Conduct visual inspection of incoming sterile products in line with quality guidelines
- Ensure compliance with agreed quality, safety, and process standards
- Maintain proper filing and archiving of relevant documents and records
Order Picking & Dispatch
- Pick goods according to the FEFO (First-Expired-First-Out) principle for shipment or internal transfer
- Conduct visual inspection, proper packing, booking, and shipping of goods and sterilisation materials
- Process returns and carry out required packing and repacking work
- Support timely and accurate dispatch of medical device shipments
Internal Logistics & Cleanroom Handling
- Manage internal goods movement, including transport within cleanroom zones
- Maintain and care for transport containers used in internal logistics
- Support standort-übergreifende (cross-site) logistics between Aachen and Würselen as needed
- Follow cleanroom protocols when handling sterile products and materials
Inventory & Compliance
- Support and carry out cycle counts, full inventories, and other stocktaking activities
- Comply with all work instructions, SOPs, and safety regulations
- Maintain a basic understanding of documentation and customs formalities
- Contribute to a positive, collaborative team environment
Qualifications & Requirements
Educational Requirements
- Completed vocational training, ideally in logistics, freight forwarding, or a comparable qualification
Experience Requirements
- Initial professional experience in warehouse logistics, ideally within a cleanroom environment or handling sterile products
- Basic knowledge of warehouse management systems and logistics processes
- Knowledge of applicable occupational safety and quality regulations
Essential Skills
- Careful, reliable, and structured way of working
- Strong teamwork and good organisational skills
- Basic understanding of documentation and customs formalities
- Willingness to work across sites between Aachen and Würselen as operationally required
- Good German language skills required; English skills are an advantage
