Position Overview
The Operational Specialist Logistics supports and coordinates the daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring smooth and efficient inbound, outbound, and sorting processes. This role coordinates and monitors daily warehouse activities especially during peak periods, supports workforce and shift planning, monitors operational KPIs such as productivity and throughput, and supports the Warehouse/Operations Manager in managing daily warehouse operations while ensuring compliance with company processes and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities
Warehouse Operations Coordination
- Support and coordinate the daily operations of the warehouse
- Ensure smooth and efficient inbound, outbound, and sorting processes
- Coordinate and monitor daily warehouse activities, especially during peak periods
Workforce & Shift Planning
- Support workforce planning, shift planning, and task allocation
- Be flexible to work shifts, including night shifts, depending on operational requirements
- Take a hands-on approach and support the team directly when required
KPI Monitoring & Issue Resolution
- Monitor operational KPIs such as productivity, throughput, and processing performance
- Identify operational issues and coordinate appropriate solutions
- Support the Warehouse/Operations Manager in managing daily warehouse operations
Compliance, Coordination & Reporting
- Ensure compliance with company processes, safety requirements, and warehouse standards
- Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth operations
- Maintain operational data, reports, and documentation, supporting continuous improvement
Qualifications & Requirements
Educational Requirements
- Degree, vocational qualification, or relevant professional experience in logistics, warehouse management, supply chain, operations, or a comparable field
Experience Requirements
- Previous experience in warehouse or logistics operations
- Experience coordinating warehouse teams or daily operational activities is an advantage
Essential Skills
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, with a proactive, hands-on, and reliable working style
- Ability to work effectively under pressure, especially during peak periods
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Fluent English and German; Mandarin skills are an advantage
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel
