The Senior Pattern Maker role at Gloria Jeans is critical in transforming design concepts into production-ready garments while ensuring superior fit, consistency, and manufacturing efficiency. You will develop first patterns, prototypes, and production patterns, create and grade digital patterns using Gerber, interpret design sketches and tech packs, participate in fittings, and collaborate closely with Design, Technical Design, Product Development, Sampling, and Production teams.

 Key Responsibilities
Pattern Development & Digital Pattern Making
- Develop first patterns, prototypes, and production patterns for a wide range of apparel categories
- Create, modify, grade, and maintain digital patterns using Gerber
- Interpret design sketches, technical packs, and product specifications to deliver accurate patterns aligned with design intent
- Prepare grading rules and maintain size consistency across all size ranges
Fit Sessions & Technical Corrections
- Participate in garment fittings and implement pattern corrections based on fit sessions
- Troubleshoot technical and fit issues during sampling and bulk production
- Ensure all patterns meet company fit standards, construction requirements, and quality expectations
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate closely with Design, Technical Design, Product Development, Sampling, and Production teams
- Support overseas factories by reviewing patterns and resolving technical issues
- Ensure production feasibility and readiness across every development stage
Pattern Engineering & Efficiency
- Optimize pattern engineering to improve garment construction and fabric utilization

Qualifications & Requirements
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 5-8 years of experience as a Pattern Maker within the fashion or apparel industry
- Proven experience developing patterns across multiple product categories
- Extensive experience conducting fit sessions and implementing technical corrections
- Experience working with international suppliers and manufacturing partners is highly preferred
Essential Skills
- Advanced proficiency in Gerber — Pattern Design, Grading, and Marker Making (mandatory)
