Position Overview
This Procurement Coordinator role at CROWN Emirates in Dubai involves managing all local and overseas purchases of spare parts, tools, consumables, and general supplies, sourcing capital equipment once approved by Head Office, and conducting market surveys to identify new suppliers and competitive pricing. You will send RFQs and negotiate pricing, delivery, and payment terms, generate purchase orders and process invoice payments, maintain computerized procurement records, consolidate overseas freight shipments with multiple forwarders, and handle local cash purchases below AED 1,000 as required.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage all local and overseas purchases of spare parts, tools, consumables, and supplies
- Source and procure capital equipment once approved by Head Office
- Conduct market surveys to identify new suppliers and competitive pricing
- Support uninterrupted plant operations through timely material availability
Quotation, Negotiation & Supplier Management
- Send RFQs and negotiate best price, delivery lead time, and payment terms
- Follow documented procurement procedures and maintain internal controls compliance
- Maintain continuous liaison with plant stores and department heads
- Build strong supplier relationships to support long-term procurement needs
Purchase Order & Documentation Management
- Generate purchase orders ensuring accuracy of specifications and pricing
- Process invoice payments after goods receipt
- Maintain computerized procurement records and documentation
- Ensure documentation supports audit and compliance requirements
Logistics, Freight & Local Purchases
- Consolidate overseas freight shipments from the USA and UK with multiple forwarders
- Ensure timely delivery through continuous follow-up with suppliers and freight agents
- Make cash purchases below AED 1,000 as required
- Receive local purchase items and coordinate handover to Stores
Qualifications & Requirements
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
Experience Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a procurement or purchasing role
- Experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred
Essential Skills
- Strong understanding of procurement processes and best practices
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
- Experience with ERP/procurement software
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
