Position Overview
The QSHE Coordinator at Almarai Riyadh enforces compliance of the QSHE management systems within the region — assisting in implementing Quality, Safety, Health and Environment management systems that meet and exceed consumer and customer expectations; identifying business risks and implementing divisional QSHE strategies to minimize serious threats; conducting internal audits across all regional functions; assisting with incident investigations through root cause analysis; managing consumer and customer complaints, accident investigations, recalls and municipality issues; and conducting regional technical QSHE training across all functional staff on QSHE strategies, policies and procedures. This is a high-responsibility, cross-functional QSHE operations role within the world’s largest dairy FMCG company — requiring technical QSHE credentials, ISO/HACCP expertise and strong English communication and influencing skills.

 Key Responsibilities
1. QSHE Management System Implementation
- Assist in implementing the QSHE (Quality, Safety, Health and Environment) management system across Almarai’s regional operations in Riyadh — ensuring all QSHE strategies, standards, policies and procedures are correctly applied across every regional function in ways that meet and exceed consumer and customer expectations.
- Assist with the identification of business risks along with the implementation of divisional QSHE strategies — proactively assessing emerging QSHE threats, evaluating risk severity and supporting the deployment of appropriate mitigation measures to minimize potential serious threats to Almarai’s business operations and consumer safety.
- Enforce compliance of the QSHE management systems within the region — monitoring adherence to established QSHE standards, identifying non-conformances and driving timely corrective actions that restore and sustain compliance across all regional operational areas.
2. Internal Audits & Continuous Improvement
- Carry out comprehensive internal audits across all regional functions — systematically evaluating compliance with QSHE management system requirements, identifying opportunities for improvement and making clear, evidence-based recommendations for suitable corrective actions that strengthen Almarai’s regional QSHE performance.
- Document internal audit findings accurately and professionally — preparing clear, structured technical audit reports that communicate compliance status, identified gaps and recommended corrective measures to regional management and the central QSHE function.
- Monitor the implementation and effectiveness of corrective actions arising from internal audits — following up to ensure all audit findings are addressed within agreed timeframes and that corrective measures are genuinely effective in preventing recurrence.
3. Incident Investigation, RCA & Complaint Management
- Assist in incident investigations by conducting structured root cause analysis (RCA) — applying systematic problem-solving methodologies to identify the true underlying causes of quality, safety, health and environmental incidents and recommend sustainable corrective actions that prevent recurrence across the region.
- Manage consumer and customer complaints comprehensively — receiving, investigating, documenting and resolving quality and food safety complaints from consumers and retail customers in a professional, timely and solution-oriented manner that protects Almarai’s reputation and consumer trust.
- Manage accident investigations, product recalls and Municipality compliance issues within the regional QSHE scope — ensuring all such incidents are handled rigorously, documented completely and resolved in full compliance with Almarai’s QSHE standards and applicable Saudi regulatory requirements.
4. Regional QSHE Training & Technical Support
- Conduct regional technical QSHE training programs across all functional staff levels — designing and delivering engaging, practically relevant training sessions on QSHE strategies, policies, procedures, food safety standards and occupational health and safety requirements that build genuine QSHE competence across the regional team.
- Provide professional QSHE technical support to divisional teams — acting as the regional QSHE knowledge resource and subject matter expert who helps operational managers and frontline staff understand, apply and sustain the QSHE standards and practices that protect Almarai’s products, people and reputation.
Qualifications & Requirements
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline — mandatory educational requirement for this QSHE Coordinator role at Almarai’s Riyadh operations.
- NEBOSH Diploma or CMIOSH (Chartered Member of IOSH) qualification — mandatory professional QSHE certification that validates the occupational health and safety competence required for this senior regional QSHE coordination role.
