Position Overview
The Quality Controller role is a critical on-site position within a reputable drinking water company in Ajman, UAE. You will monitor and oversee all production stages, conduct routine water sample testing, manage quality control systems, and ensure full regulatory compliance. With strong knowledge of ISO standards, HACCP principles, and UAE food safety regulations, you will protect product integrity from raw water intake through to final packaged delivery — safeguarding the health and trust of consumers every single day.

Key Responsibilities
Production Monitoring & Quality Oversight
- Monitor and oversee all stages of production to ensure full compliance with quality standards and UAE industry regulations
- Conduct routine testing and inspections of water samples, raw water intake, packaging materials, and bottling processes
- Identify production process inefficiencies and address quality-related risks before they escalate
- Ensure finished products consistently meet the highest safety and quality benchmarks before reaching consumers
Quality Control Systems & Procedures
- Implement, maintain, and continuously improve quality control systems and standard operating procedures
- Ensure full adherence to health, safety, and quality standards including ISO and HACCP requirements
- Conduct regular internal quality audits across production, storage, and packaging areas
- Drive corrective and preventive actions in response to quality non-conformances and test findings
Documentation & Compliance Reporting
- Maintain accurate, audit-ready quality control records, inspection reports, and compliance documentation
- Prepare detailed quality reports for management and regulatory compliance purposes
- Ensure records reflect real-time production quality data with full traceability
- Support preparation and successful completion of external regulatory and third-party audits
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate closely with production and engineering teams to investigate and resolve quality concerns
- Liaise with procurement to verify quality of incoming raw materials and packaging supplies
- Train and guide production staff on quality standards, food safety protocols, and HACCP principles
- Work alongside operations leadership to embed a culture of quality and continuous improvement
Qualifications & Requirements
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Microbiology, Food Technology, or a closely related scientific field
- Additional certifications in food safety, quality management, or HACCP are a strong advantage
Experience Requirements
- Proven work experience in the drinking water industry within the UAE — industry-specific background is essential
- Hands-on experience in quality control, product testing, and regulatory compliance in a production environment
- UAE experience strongly preferred; candidates currently based in UAE given priority consideration
Essential Skills
- Strong knowledge of quality control systems, food safety standards, and UAE regulatory requirements
