Key Responsibilities
Quality Policy Compliance & Standards Implementation
- Interpret, communicate, and actively support quality policies across the plant — implementing clear guidelines that ensure full compliance with Nestlé’s global quality standards and procedures at all times
- Ensure all production processes comply with established standards at both Nestlé’s internal quality framework level and Saudi national regulatory requirements simultaneously
- Specify quality requirements for raw materials supplied to the facility and conduct thorough sample analysis on each incoming raw material batch to verify adherence to Nestlé’s quality procedures
- Adhere to Nestlé’s Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) rules and procedures at all times during working hours to ensure personal safety and the safety of all team members
Customer Quality Issue Management & Root Cause Analysis
- Perform all activities related to responding to customer quality issues swiftly and professionally, maintaining full transparency and a solutions-focused approach throughout
- Assist in identifying root causes of product quality failures or customer complaints and develop practical corrective actions that measurably improve product quality and reduce errors
- Track and monitor the effectiveness of implemented corrective actions over time, reporting outcomes to the Quality Manager and making further adjustments where necessary
- Build and maintain professional relationships with customers by ensuring quality issue resolutions are communicated clearly, promptly, and with the appropriate level of detail
Audit Participation & Certification Maintenance
- Participate actively and constructively in all internal and external quality audits, contributing specialist knowledge and ensuring the facility is always in a state of full audit readiness
- Implement corrective actions arising from all audit findings promptly and thoroughly to maintain certification status and ensure continued compliance with good business practices
- Support the preparation, review, and updating of all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), quality manuals, and compliance documentation required for audit and certification purposes
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including production, supply chain, and procurement to ensure all audit-related corrective actions are closed effectively within agreed timelines
QC Training, Records & Continuous Improvement
- Design, develop, and implement comprehensive quality control training programs for the QC team to ensure continuous professional growth, skill development, and consistent standards awareness
- Maintain all quality and calibration records and documentation in complete accordance with Nestlé’s quality manual and specific customer documentation requirements
- Proactively identify areas for quality improvement across products, processes, and systems and present well-structured recommendations to the Quality Manager for prioritization and implementation
- Champion a culture of quality excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement across the Riyadh plant quality team through daily leadership, coaching, and performance example
Qualifications & Requirements
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Safety, Food Science, Food Technology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a closely related scientific field — mandatory for all applicants
- Additional professional certifications in HACCP, ISO 22000, FSSC 22000, or Nestlé Quality Management System (NQMS) are considered a strong and valued advantage
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 2 to 3 years of proven supervisory experience in a quality assurance or quality control role — preferably within the FMCG food manufacturing industry
- Hands-on experience conducting raw material analysis, managing quality documentation, and participating in internal and external quality audits in a manufacturing environment
- Prior experience within the Saudi Arabian or broader GCC FMCG market is considered a strong advantage for this Nestlé Riyadh position
Key Knowledge & Skills
- Strong working knowledge of Quality Management Standards including ISO 22000, HACCP, GMP, and FSMS frameworks applicable to food and beverage manufacturing
