Position Overview
The Executive — Product Innovation at IFFCO Beverage Solutions is a dynamic, hands-on NPD role responsible for developing new and improving existing beverage and F&B products from concept stage right through to successful commercial launch. Working closely with the Head of NPD, you will execute research and development activities independently, ensure scale-up of new products in manufacturing plants, manage shelf life and pre-launch storage studies, source new raw material and packaging suppliers, and maintain accurate documentation in ORACLE systems. This role demands strong food technology expertise, sharp analytical ability, and a passion for translating global food trends into market-winning products.

Key Responsibilities
New Product Development
- Responsible for developing new and improving existing beverage and F&B products from concept stage all the way through to commercial launch
- Ensure successful scaling up of NPD products by collaborating closely with internal and external manufacturing plants
- Drive process development and optimization in production plants to ensure consistent, high-quality product outputs
- Conduct pre-launch storage studies and detailed shelf life studies for all new products prior to market release
Ingredient & Packaging Sourcing
- Search and identify new suppliers to source raw material (RM) and packaging material (PM) ingredients that complement the existing product range
- Develop and manage RM and PM specifications, and provide expert selection and recommendation of packaging materials
- Evaluate ingredient and packaging options to balance quality, cost, and food regulation compliance requirements
- Build and maintain a strong supplier network that supports innovation speed and product development excellence
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Serve as the key liaison between production, marketing, and quality assurance departments to develop desired products at acceptable quality standards
- Work closely with Supply Chain and Manufacturing teams to scale R&D product designs into full commercial production
- Support marketing teams with technical product information, labeling requirements, and food regulation compliance guidance
- Ensure optimum and consistent manufacturing processes to guarantee high-quality product outputs across all plant sites
Documentation & Systems Management
- Manage documentation and online modification of recipes, routing, and formulas in the ORACLE ERP system
- Maintain Certificates of Analysis (COA) and specification sheets for all new ingredients in initial development stages
- Prepare and maintain accurate technical reports, development records, and regulatory documentation throughout the NPD process
- Drive recipe optimization and value engineering to enhance product cost-efficiency without compromising quality

Qualifications & Requirements
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Dairy Technology, Food Technology, or a closely related food science discipline
- Additional qualifications or certifications in food innovation, regulatory affairs, or NPD management are a strong advantage
Experience Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in new product development, food technology, or R&D within the FMCG or beverage industry
- Proven track record of managing NPD projects from concept through commercial launch in a food or beverage manufacturing environment
- Practical experience with plant scale-up, shelf life studies, supplier sourcing, and food regulatory compliance
