Key Responsibilities
PCB & Embedded System Project Planning
- Develop and execute project plans for PCB and embedded system designs, aligning with business objectives and technical feasibility
- Define project scope, timelines, and resource allocation across cross-functional hardware development teams
- Manage PCB layout reviews, signal integrity analysis, and component selection to optimize performance and manufacturability
- Ensure compliance with technical requirements, industry standards, and business constraints throughout the project lifecycle
Cross-Functional Team Leadership
- Lead collaboration between hardware engineers, firmware developers, mechanical engineers, and third-party vendors
- Deliver high-quality prototypes within budget through effective team coordination and technical leadership
- Manage relationships with manufacturing partners and supply chain contacts to ensure DFM compliance and on-schedule production
- Provide technical direction to PCB layout, embedded firmware, and mechanical engineering teams across multiple concurrent projects
KPIs, Risk Management & Quality Assurance
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators for project progress, risk mitigation, and quality assurance
- Assess technical risks and propose mitigations while balancing cost, schedule, and performance trade-offs
- Ensure compliance with industry standards including IPC-2221, IPC-A-610, and UL certification processes
