Position Overview
The Supply Chain Planner at Merz Aesthetics Frankfurt is responsible for managing supply chain activities across different brands within the product portfolio. You will determine required supply by month, material, and customer; participate in the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process; support strategic supply network decisions; drive continuous improvement initiatives; and maintain master data in SAP, Business Warehouse, and ANAPLAN. This is an initial 24-month contract role based at the EMEA headquarters in Frankfurt am Main.

Key Responsibilities
Supply Chain Planning & Management
- Manage supply chain activities across different brands within the Merz Aesthetics product portfolio
- Determine required supply by month, material, and customer to ensure timely and efficient delivery
- Drive inventory management through the various stages of the supply chain
- Maintain close coordination with production sites to align supply with demand requirements
Sales & Operations Planning
- Participate actively in the S&OP process to provide a tactical outlook based on relevant KPIs
- Support strategic decision-making regarding future supply network planning and optimization
- Proactively support all supply chain activities required for new product introduction (NPI)
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize cycle times, planning procedures, and customer satisfaction
Master Data & Systems Management
- Continuously maintain required master data in tools such as SAP, Business Warehouse, and ANAPLAN
- Leverage SAP MM, PP, and SD modules to support planning and supply chain operations
- Use MS Office applications and business intelligence tools to support reporting and analysis
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity across all supply chain planning systems
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner effectively with all organizational levels to build trusted business relationships
- Collaborate with colleagues across 26 countries to align supply chain activities globally
- Coordinate with production sites, commercial teams, and logistics partners
- Support cross-functional teams in achieving continuous improvement goals
Qualifications & Requirements
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or an equivalent field
Experience Requirements
- Ideally 2+ years of experience in demand or supply planning, preferably in a multinational company
- Pharmaceutical or aesthetic medicine industry experience is a strong advantage
- First experience with SAP MM, PP, and SD modules is highly advantageous
Essential Skills
- Structured, solution-oriented working style with strong analytical skills
- High degree of customer and business orientation with a hands-on mentality
- Team-oriented personality with the ability to build trusted relationships at all organizational levels
- Fluency in English (verbal and written); German and French are an advantage
