Position Overview
This Team Manager — Processing role involves leading operations at Almarai’s poultry processing plant in Hail, Saudi Arabia. You will manage production teams, ensure product quality, safety, and efficiency, while meeting production targets and internal customer requirements. The role requires hands-on plant leadership, strong food safety knowledge, and the ability to optimize yield, reduce wastage, and maximize plant utilization across high-volume poultry processing operations.

Key Responsibilities
Production Team Leadership
- Lead and manage processing teams to deliver production targets consistently
- Manage manpower planning, shifts, and team performance across the plant
- Train, coach, and develop team members to improve overall performance
- Drive a strong health & safety culture across all operations
Quality, Safety & Compliance Management
- Ensure all products meet required quality, safety, and specification standards
- Maintain and enforce GMP, HACCP, and food safety standards plant-wide
- Apply ISO 22000 principles across daily processing operations
- Identify operational issues and implement timely corrective actions
Production Efficiency & Yield Optimization
- Optimize yield, reduce wastage, and maximize plant utilization
- Deliver production schedules on time and as per required specifications
- Support continuous improvement and cost optimization initiatives
- Drive efficiency gains across high-volume poultry processing lines
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Coordinate with planning, maintenance, and quality teams for smooth operations
- Work effectively with multiple departments ensuring integrated plant performance
- Liaise with internal customers to confirm production requirements are met
- Support automated processing systems integration across the plant floor
Multicultural Team Management
- Lead large multicultural teams of 80–100 employees across shifts
- Foster a collaborative, high-performance plant culture
- Manage shift rosters ensuring continuous, uninterrupted production coverage
- Build leadership capability within the team to support future plant growth
Qualifications & Requirements
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Production, Food Technology, Food Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Formal knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and ISO 22000 standards required
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 2+ years’ experience in poultry or food processing operations
- Experience in high-volume manufacturing environments essential
- Proven experience managing large multicultural teams (80–100 employees)
- Exposure to automated processing systems preferred
