Documentation, Reporting & Handover
- Maintain comprehensive records of inspections, work executed, non-conformances, and corrective actions — producing the complete, accurate, and well-organised inspection record that provides an auditable history of construction quality for the Resident Engineer, the client, and the operating authority
- Assist in review of installation and as-built drawings — comparing as-built conditions against design drawings, identifying discrepancies, and supporting the engineering team in producing accurate as-built records that reflect the actual constructed state of the viaduct
- Assist with inspection of completed works, prepare snag lists, and support handover to the operating authority — conducting detailed completion inspections, documenting all outstanding items and defects, and ensuring all snag items are closed out to the required standard before formal handover of the completed viaduct sections
- Assist in measuring work done when required — supporting the quantity surveying function by providing accurate measurement and verification of construction quantities for interim payment assessment and final account purposes
Health, Safety & Stakeholder Collaboration
- Verify and ensure adherence to safety protocols and procedures on-site — actively monitoring construction activities for unsafe working practices, immediately intervening when safety standards are compromised, and contributing to a site safety culture that protects all workers and ensures full public safety adjacent to the active metro rail construction zone

Academic & Professional Background
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering with a minimum of 4 years of related construction supervision experience — or a Diploma in Civil or Structural Engineering with a minimum of 7 years of related construction supervision experience; both pathways are equally valid provided the experience requirement is met
- Project experience in construction inspection or supervision, particularly in infrastructure projects like bridges and/or viaducts — this is a non-negotiable requirement; general building construction supervision experience without bridge or viaduct exposure is not sufficient for this role
