Position Overview
This Warehousing Lead Associate role involves planning and coordinating daily dispatch for container, air and road shipments, preparing gate passes and verifying shipment documentation, managing storage of packed pallets and finished goods, updating pallet locations in the VRAK system, monitoring warehouse inventory and conducting stock counts, ensuring FIFO compliance, supporting container stuffing operations, and maintaining accurate dispatch and warehouse reports.

Key Responsibilities
Dispatch Planning & Coordination
- Plan, schedule and coordinate daily dispatch activities for container, air and road shipments
- Ensure shipments are loaded per dispatch schedules and customer requirements
- Prepare and issue gate passes for outgoing shipments
- Verify shipment quantities, packing details and dispatch documentation prior to vehicle release
- Coordinate with logistics providers, transporters and freight forwarders for timely dispatch
Warehouse Storage & Pallet Management
- Manage storage of packed pallets and finished goods
- Allocate and maintain accurate storage locations for all packed pallets
- Update pallet location details accurately in the VRAK system
- Track pallet movement from production through packing, storage and dispatch
- Ensure proper labeling, identification and traceability of all pallets
Inventory Control & Compliance
- Monitor warehouse inventory and maintain accurate stock records
- Conduct regular physical stock counts and support reconciliation activities
- Ensure FIFO (First-In-First-Out) compliance during storage and dispatch
- Monitor finished goods inventory and provide daily stock status updates
Reporting, Safety & Audit Support
- Coordinate with production, planning, engineering and logistics teams to achieve shipment targets
- Maintain accurate dispatch and warehouse reports, logs and documentation
- Support container stuffing operations and ensure optimal container utilization
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality and warehouse procedures
- Maintain housekeeping standards and support internal/external audits
