Position Overview
This Workshop Operative role involves assisting technicians, mechanics and certifying staff with workshop support activities, preparing work areas and arranging tools and materials, supporting safe movement and positioning of components and equipment, assisting with cleaning, carpet removal, galley cart cleaning and maintenance preparation, maintaining workshop cleanliness and organization, keeping walkways and emergency equipment locations clear, and reporting hazards or unsafe conditions promptly.

Key Responsibilities
Technician & Workshop Support
- Assist technicians, mechanics, certifying staff and other authorised personnel with workshop support activities
- Prepare work areas and arrange tools, equipment, materials and consumables required for assigned activities
Material Handling & Component Care
- Support the safe movement, loading, unloading and positioning of components, equipment and materials
- Handle components, tools, materials and equipment carefully to prevent damage, contamination or loss of identification
- Assist with component and equipment cleaning, carpet removal/installation, galley cart cleaning and maintenance preparation
Housekeeping & Workplace Organization
- Maintain cleanliness, organisation and housekeeping of workshops, storage areas and wash areas
- Keep walkways, access routes, work areas and emergency equipment locations clear of obstructions
- Clean tools, equipment, machinery and work areas following activities and return items to designated storage
- Assist with arrangement, identification, movement and disposal of materials, consumables and waste
Safety & Compliance
- Report hazards, spills, damaged items, unsafe conditions or unusual observations promptly
- Attend required training and safety briefings, following company procedures and instructions
- Comply with ISR policies and report weaknesses or incidents to the relevant Line Manager or Information Security team

Educational Requirements
- High School Diploma
Experience Requirements
- 0-2 years of experience
- Experience in a workshop, industrial or aviation support environment is preferred
