Position Overview
As Head Waiter / Head Waitress at L’Abysse Dubai, you will be responsible for maintaining restaurant standards and leading, supervising, and motivating colleagues to deliver service of the highest professional quality, with meticulous attention to detail. You will ensure food and beverage orders are delivered promptly and accurately, provide genuine hospitality, and uphold the resort’s brand and grooming standards.

 Key Responsibilities
Service Standards & Team Leadership
- Maintain exceptional service standards, ensuring all food and beverage orders are delivered promptly and accurately per SOPs
- Lead, supervise, and monitor colleagues, delegating tasks effectively
- Ensure the restaurant environment is well-presented, clean, safe, and aligned with the resort’s image
Guest Hospitality & Product Knowledge
- Provide genuine hospitality, greeting guests professionally and anticipating their needs
- Address concerns or complaints and ensure overall guest satisfaction
- Demonstrate strong product knowledge of all food and beverage items offered
Communication & Compliance
- Uphold the highest standards of personal appearance, grooming, and hygiene
- Maintain effective communication, updating diaries, reporting incidents, and sharing guest preferences
- Follow all health, safety, sustainability, and emergency procedures, reporting hazards to supervisors
Qualifications & Requirements
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a fine dining restaurant is required
Essential Skills
- Strong attention to detail, flexibility, creativity, and ability to work under pressure
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills in English
Preferred Qualifications
- Middle East/GCC experience is an advantage
