Position Overview
The Operations Coordinator plans and coordinates daily maintenance activities with Operations, establishing activity priorities to improve plant availability. The role monitors plant day-to-day technical performance, provides corrective actions and recommendations, and leads risk assessment sessions while ensuring compliance with HSE standards and ADNOC Code of Practices.

Key Responsibilities
Operations Coordination & Support
- Plan and coordinate daily maintenance activities with Operations, establishing priorities
- Monitor plant day-to-day technical performance, providing corrective actions and recommendations
- Coordinate plant shutdowns and turnarounds to facilitate smooth operations
Reliability & Risk Management
- Review and monitor reliability efforts, participating in root cause analysis and improvement programs
- Lead risk assessment sessions and evaluate identified risks, ensuring mitigation measures
- Provide inputs related to plant modifications, projects, HAZOP, and process flow diagram reviews
Supervision & Team Development
- Plan, supervise, and coordinate all activities in the assigned area to meet functional objectives
- Train and develop assigned staff on relevant skills to enable proficiency
Budgets, Performance & Continuous Improvement
- Provide input for functional budgets and assist in implementing approved work plans
- Design and implement new tools and techniques to improve operational process quality and efficiency
Qualifications & Requirements
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Production Engineering or an equivalent Professional Qualification
Experience Requirements
- 8 years of experience in Plant Operations in the Oil and Gas industry
- Knowledge of all process units operations for Gas Processing Plants and general plant layout
Essential Skills
- Good understanding of HSE standards, policy, and procedures
- Planning, organising, scheduling, coordinating, checking, examining, and recording
- AI Fluency and AI-Driven Process Optimization competencies
- Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) proficiency
- Knowledge of Electrical, Mechanical, Process, and Instrument Engineering principles
