Position Overview
The ideal candidate will have strong testing skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to identify, reproduce, document, and communicate software defects clearly. The role involves executing manual test cases, performing various types of testing, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure software quality before release.
 Why This Role Matters: As Manual QA Tester, you execute manual test cases and test scenarios to verify software functionality, review requirements, user stories, and specifications to identify testing needs, perform functional, regression, integration, usability, and exploratory testing, identify, reproduce, document, and track software bugs and defects with clear reproduction steps, retest resolved defects to confirm fixes are working as expected, collaborate with developers, product managers, and designers to investigate and resolve defects, and communicate testing progress, risks, and quality concerns clearly to relevant stakeholders throughout the release cycle.
Key Responsibilities
Test Execution & Documentation
- Execute manual test cases and test scenarios to verify software functionality
- Create and maintain test cases, test scripts, checklists, and testing documentation
Defect Identification & Tracking
- Identify, reproduce, document, and track software bugs and defects
- Provide clear descriptions, reproduction steps, expected results, and actual results
- Retest resolved defects to confirm fixes are working as expected
Testing Types & Validation
- Perform functional, regression, integration, usability, and exploratory testing
- Test web applications across different browsers, devices, and environments when required
- Validate application behavior against business and technical requirements
Collaboration & Reporting
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, designers, and other teams
- Maintain accurate records of test results, defects, and testing progress
- Participate in release testing, quality validation, and user acceptance testing
 Qualifications & Requirements
Experience Requirements
- Previous experience in manual QA testing, software testing, quality assurance, or a similar role
- Hands-on experience creating and executing manual test cases
- Experience identifying, documenting, and tracking software defects
- Experience performing functional and regression testing
Essential Skills
- Familiarity with tools such as Jira, TestRail, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms
- Ability to analyze requirements and translate them into effective test scenarios
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with remote teams
- Reliable internet connection and a suitable setup for remote work
- English proficiency, particularly for English-speaking teams or technical documentation
