Position Overview
This Supply Chain & Quality Manager role at Airbus Operations in Finkenwerder involves ensuring on-time and high-quality delivery performance based on KPIs, initiating and following up on supplier recovery plans, and conducting industrial qualification of products and suppliers in accordance with Airbus Supplier Requirements. You will conduct industrial audits and supplier evaluations, develop industrial capacity and capability of cabin suppliers using Continuous Improvement methods like APQP and Lean, monitor new product introductions for end-to-end consistency, proactively manage industrial risks, and manage interfaces with internal stakeholders including MFT managers, programs, and FALs.

Key Responsibilities
Delivery Performance & Recovery Management
- Ensure on-time and high-quality delivery performance based on KPIs
- Implement immediate measures to protect the Airbus industrial system
- Initiate and follow up on recovery plans with suppliers
- Address deterioration in delivery or quality performance proactively
Industrial Qualification & Audits
- Conduct industrial qualification of products and suppliers per ASR
- Ensure compliance with aviation regulations throughout qualification
- Conduct industrial audits and evaluations of suppliers
- Support supplier readiness for Airbus quality standards
Capacity Development & Continuous Improvement
- Develop industrial capacity and capability of cabin suppliers
- Support Airbus strategic goals such as ramp-up and sustainability
- Apply Continuous Improvement methods including APQP and Lean
- Lead joint development projects such as SQIP with suppliers
Risk Management & Stakeholder Coordination
- Monitor introduction of new products and work shifts in the supply chain
- Ensure end-to-end consistency and on-time, high-quality performance
- Proactively manage industrial risks with internal and external stakeholders
- Manage interfaces with MFT managers, programs, and FALs
- Communicate effectively at all levels to influence decision-making
Qualifications & Requirements
Educational Requirements
- Successfully completed technical studies or comparable qualification (at least technician/specialist level)
- Fields such as aerospace, industrial engineering, or logistics
Experience Requirements
- More than 2 years of relevant professional experience
- Experience in supplier management, aerospace, quality management, or quality assurance
Technical Skills
- In-depth application knowledge of Windows and SAP/R3
- Knowledge of Google Workspace
- Good knowledge of Risk Management and Total Quality Management
- Practical experience with APQP, Control Plan, PFMEA, 8D/9S, and VSM tools
Language Requirements
- Fluent English skills
- Proficient knowledge of German
- French language skills are an advantage
