The Supply Chain Planner (m/f/d) at Pomom serves as a central interface between production, logistics, sales, and international partners — ensuring that everything is always in the right place at exactly the right time. You will plan and coordinate goods flows, ensure on-time production and delivery of orders, support international expansion into new countries, monitor stock levels and master data, maintain delivery capacity, and coordinate shipping with freight forwarders and logistics service providers. Key Responsibilities
Goods Flow Planning & Order Coordination
- Plan and coordinate the complete flow of goods — ensuring that all orders are produced and delivered on time to meet customer and partner requirements consistently
- Monitor and manage production and delivery schedules proactively — identifying potential delays or shortages early and implementing solutions before they impact customers
- Maintain high delivery capacity through accurate demand planning, stock level monitoring, and master data maintenance across all product lines and markets
- Coordinate closely with production teams to align production schedules with sales demand forecasts, inventory levels, and international order requirements
International Growth & Global Supply Chain Development
- Actively support Pomom’s expansion into new countries — contributing supply chain planning expertise to the process of establishing reliable logistics and delivery frameworks in new markets
- Further develop and optimize global supply chain processes — identifying improvements that enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve delivery reliability across all international markets
- Build and maintain productive working relationships with international partners, suppliers, and logistics service providers — communicating clearly and effectively in both German and English
- Contribute supply chain insights and recommendations to Pomom’s strategic growth discussions — ensuring operational feasibility is embedded in international expansion planning from the outset
Inventory Management & Master Data
- Monitor stock levels continuously across all product categories and markets — ensuring inventory is maintained at optimal levels that balance availability with cost efficiency
- Maintain accurate supply chain master data — product information, supplier data, lead times, and delivery parameters — ensuring data quality that supports reliable planning decisions
- Identify and report inventory risks, shortages, or excess stock situations promptly — recommending and implementing corrective actions to maintain healthy inventory positions
- Use Excel and supply chain planning tools confidently to analyze inventory data, generate reports, and support data-driven supply chain decision-making across the organization
Shipping Coordination & Freight Management
- Coordinate all outbound deliveries — working closely with freight forwarders and shipping service providers to ensure timely, cost-effective, and accurate delivery execution
- Manage shipping schedules, documentation, and customs requirements — ensuring all shipments are processed correctly and reach international customers and partners on time
- Evaluate and develop freight forwarding partnerships — identifying improvements in shipping routes, carrier performance, and logistics costs that benefit Pomom’s supply chain efficiency
- Resolve shipping disruptions, delays, or exceptions swiftly and professionally — communicating transparently with internal stakeholders and external partners throughout the resolution process
Qualifications & Requirements
Educational & Professional Background
- Completed commercial vocational training or a degree in economics, supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a comparable relevant qualification
- Good foundational understanding of business processes, commercial relationships, and how supply chain planning connects production, logistics, and sales operations
Experience Requirements
- Relevant experience in supply chain management, logistics operations, purchasing, or production planning within a commercial or manufacturing environment
- Practical experience coordinating with freight forwarders, logistics service providers, and international suppliers — ideally with some exposure to cross-border or international supply chain operations
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple simultaneous topics, and deliver results in a fast-paced and evolving supply chain environment
