Position Overview

This Supply Chain Planner (m/f/d) role at Remmers Group covers three core areas: supply and inventory management, demand planning and forecast management, and business planning and process optimisation. You will act as the central contact point for national and international locations on goods supply matters, work closely with sales, product management, and international teams on forecasting, and contribute to key projects that continuously advance Remmers’ planning and supply chain capabilities. This is a highly analytical, cross-functional, and strategically important role within a well-established German industrial company.

 Key Responsibilities

Supply & Inventory Management

  • Ensure consistent product availability through precise control of inventory levels, replenishment processes, and planning parameters
  • Monitor demand trends and inventory movements continuously, initiating timely corrective measures in cases of supply bottlenecks
  • Act as the primary contact person for national and international Remmers locations on all matters related to goods supply and stock availability
  • Maintain and refine planning parameters within ERP systems to keep inventory lean, accurate, and aligned with business needs

Demand Planning & Forecast Management

  • Create, analyse, and continuously optimise demand and sales forecasts using data-driven methodologies and planning tools
  • Lead and coordinate forecast and demand review sessions with sales teams, product management, and international business units
  • Support effective portfolio management decisions through comprehensive, data-backed analysis and actionable insights
  • Track forecast accuracy and implement improvements to planning models that reduce variance and increase reliability

Business Planning & Process Optimisation

  • Provide active support for Remmers’ annual sales and business planning cycles, contributing supply chain data and projections
  • Analyse key supply chain performance figures and derive clear, evidence-based recommendations for management action
  • Participate actively in projects focused on the further development and optimisation of planning, forecasting, and supply chain processes
  • Identify and document process improvement opportunities that reduce cost, increase efficiency, and strengthen supply chain resilience

Qualifications & Requirements

Educational Requirements

  • Completed degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a comparable qualification
  • Additional certifications in supply chain, planning, or ERP systems are advantageous

Experience Requirements

  • Solid professional experience in supply chain management, demand planning, or inventory management roles
  • Demonstrated track record working with ERP systems and advanced planning tools in a professional setting
  • Prior exposure to cross-functional collaboration with sales, product management, or international teams is a plus
