Position Overview
The Hygiene Supervisor role sits within Almarai’s Quality department at the Premier Foods plant in Riyadh. The purpose of this position is to supervise and follow up cleaning and pest control activities throughout the plant in accordance with Almarai’s strict hygiene standards. The successful candidate will ensure cleaning activities are carried out as per required GMP standards and within approved budgets, maintain hygiene stores, monitor cleaning effectiveness through scheduled swab testing, and ensure cleanliness of laboratories and office areas according to the agreed schedule.

Key Responsibilities
Cleaning Activity Supervision
- Supervise and follow up cleaning activities carried out across the Premier Foods plant
- Ensure all cleaning activities are performed as per required GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) standards
- Monitor day-to-day cleaning operations to maintain consistently high hygiene standards plant-wide
- Coordinate with cleaning teams to ensure schedules and tasks are completed accurately and on time
Pest Control Management
- Supervise and follow up pest control activities at the Premier Foods plant in line with Almarai standards
- Ensure pest control measures are implemented effectively to protect food safety and product quality
- Coordinate pest control schedules and ensure timely corrective actions where required
Budget & Resource Management
- Ensure cleaning activities are carried out within approved operational budgets
- Maintain and upkeep hygiene stores in accordance with Almarai’s quality and inventory standards
- Track usage of cleaning supplies and equipment to support cost-effective hygiene operations
Monitoring & Quality Verification
- Monitor the effectiveness of cleaning activities by taking swabs as per the agreed testing schedules
- Review swab test results and take corrective action where cleaning standards are not met
- Ensure cleanliness of laboratory and office areas as per the established cleaning schedule
- Maintain accurate hygiene records and documentation in line with Almarai’s Quality department requirements
Qualifications & Requirements
Educational Requirements
- High School certificate or Diploma — minimum educational requirement for this role
Experience Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in cleaning or laboratory-related activities
- Prior supervisory or team-leading experience in a hygiene, cleaning, or quality-related environment is an advantage
Essential Skills
- Strong supervisory skills with the ability to manage cleaning and pest control teams effectively
- Basic knowledge of MS Office Suite for reporting, scheduling, and documentation purposes
- Good communication skills for coordinating across teams and reporting to Quality department management
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining the highest hygiene and food safety standards
