You will design and deploy AI systems powering Zara — micro1’s AI Recruiter — while collaborating with product, research, and engineering teams across the globe. Key Responsibilities
AI System Architecture & Development
- Design, build, and deploy scalable AI models and cloud infrastructure leveraging Python and AWS environments
- Architect end-to-end AI systems powering Zara, micro1’s pioneering AI Recruiter model
- Ensure systems are production-ready, scalable, and optimized for real-world recruiting use cases
- Translate complex technical requirements into robust, maintainable engineering solutions
Multimodal AI Development
- Develop and integrate advanced large language models (LLMs) and multimodal AI systems into core platforms
- Build systems that process and understand text, audio, video, and visual inputs seamlessly
- Stay at the absolute forefront of multimodal AI advancements and drive rapid adoption of emerging technologies
- Experiment with and implement cutting-edge AI frameworks to improve model performance and capability
API & Framework Engineering
- Build efficient, scalable APIs using LangChain and FastAPI to enhance system performance and interoperability
- Design API frameworks that support seamless integration across multiple AI-powered product components
- Optimize API performance to handle high-throughput recruiting technology workloads at global scale
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with product, research, and engineering teams to translate requirements into robust technical solutions
- Operate independently with strong problem-solving skills and excellent written and verbal communication
- Collaborate across time zones in a remote-first, globally distributed engineering environment
Research & Innovation
- Track and evaluate the latest advances in AI research including LLMs, multimodal models, and deep learning
- Drive internal adoption of cutting-edge AI technologies that keep micro1 ahead of the market
- Contribute to open-source AI projects or internal research initiatives where relevant
Qualifications & Requirements
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related technical field
- Proven hands-on experience in Python programming and building production-grade systems on AWS
- Strong experience with large language models (LLMs), LangChain, and multimodal AI frameworks
- Proficiency in developing high-performance APIs using FastAPI, Flask, or similar frameworks
- Exceptional problem-solving ability with capacity to operate independently in fast-paced environments
- Excellent communication skills — both written and verbal — for cross-functional collaboration
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree or higher in a relevant technical field such as Computer Science or AI/ML Engineering
- Experience in technical leadership, engineering mentorship, or guiding high-performing teams
- Open-source AI project contributions or published AI/ML research papers
- Familiarity with GPU programming and optimization techniques for deep learning workloads
