Position Overview
The Industrial Supply Chain Manager (I-SCM) at Nexperia in Hamburg is a high-ownership, cross-functional SCM leadership role covering the full spectrum of manufacturing network management and industrialisation. You will lead volume ramp-ups, manufacturing transfers, supplier and factory onboardings, and product change implementations — representing Supply Chain Management in strategic industrialisation and PCN projects. Using SAP and Power BI, you will design end-to-end supply chain concepts, drive capacity planning and loading strategies, develop KPI dashboards, analyse performance data, and lead continuous improvement initiatives that build a more efficient, resilient, and scalable global supply chain for Nexperia’s semiconductor manufacturing operations.
Why This Role Matters: As Industrial Supply Chain Manager at Nexperia Hamburg, you sit at the centre of decisions that define how Nexperia’s semiconductor products are manufactured and delivered to customers worldwide. You will lead volume ramp-ups and manufacturing transfers that shape global production capacity, design end-to-end supply chain concepts that balance cost, flexibility, and service level commitments across internal and external factories, build the KPI dashboards and reporting tools that give management real-time visibility into SCM performance, proactively identify and mitigate supply and capacity risks before they impact business continuity, and drive the continuous improvement and transformation initiatives that define Nexperia’s operational excellence strategy for years to come.
Key Responsibilities
Industrialisation & Manufacturing Network Leadership
- Lead Volume Ramp-Up (VRU) activities, manufacturing transfers, supplier and factory onboardings, and product optimisation initiatives across Nexperia’s global network
- Represent Supply Chain Management (SCM) in industrialisation and Product Change Notification (PCN) projects — ensuring successful implementation aligned with business objectives
- Design and implement efficient end-to-end supply chain concepts covering material, capacity, and financial flows across both internal and external manufacturing networks
- Ensure supply chain requirements are fully integrated into industrialisation project execution from planning through to stable productive operation
Capacity Planning & Loading Strategy
- Drive capacity planning and loading strategies — balancing internal and external manufacturing resources to ensure compliance with contractual commitments while optimising cost, flexibility, and service levels
- Establish and lead cross-functional capacity and loading governance processes — developing and maintaining planning and loading tools that provide operational clarity at all times
- Monitor and analyse capacity utilisation, demand signals, and supplier performance data — translating insights into actionable recommendations for management decision-making
- Proactively identify supply, capacity, and operational risks and develop concrete mitigation plans that ensure business continuity and supply chain resilience
KPI Management, Data Analytics & Reporting
- Develop and maintain KPIs, dashboards, and reporting tools using SAP and Power BI — providing full transparency and supporting data-driven decision-making across the SCM function
- Analyse supply chain, inventory, demand, capacity, and supplier performance data — turning complex datasets into clear, actionable business insights and management decisions
- Build scalable reporting frameworks that give global SCM leadership real-time visibility into manufacturing network performance, risk exposure, and improvement opportunities
- Support and improve system-driven processes through master data governance, data validation, process harmonisation, and structured continuous improvement initiatives
Process Improvement & SCM Transformation
- Identify and drive process improvement initiatives across planning, logistics, production, and supply chain operations — enhancing efficiency, visibility, scalability, and cost-effectiveness
- Lead or actively contribute to cross-functional SCM transformation projects — driving operational excellence and supply chain optimisation at an international scale
- Drive the adoption of agile and data-driven supply chain practices — bringing a continuous improvement mindset to every aspect of Nexperia’s manufacturing and logistics network
- Communicate progress, challenges, and improvement outcomes transparently and proactively to senior stakeholders — maintaining trust and confidence across all organisational levels
