Position Overview
As Production Officer, you will lead a self-directed, multi-functional team to efficiently process and pack seafood products — shrimp, salmon, and multi-species fish — in accordance with company specifications, production targets, and food safety standards. You’ll direct daily production activities, provide on-the-job training and coaching, oversee cutting, trimming, glazing, grading, and packing, and coordinate with the Planning Department to ensure product availability.

Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Production Targets
- Direct and coordinate team members to achieve daily seafood production targets
- Lead a self-directed, multi-functional team according to product specifications and quality standards
- Provide on-the-job training and coaching to ensure safe, efficient, SOP-compliant performance
Seafood Processing Operations
- Oversee seafood processing activities including cutting, trimming, glazing, grading, and packing
- Ensure adherence to yield and quality targets throughout processing
- Ensure all seafood products meet company quality and safety standards
Planning & Internal Customer Service
- Review production plans with the Planning Department to guarantee product availability
- Maximize service to internal customers by delivering the right product at the right time and specification
Qualifications & Requirements
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Fish Processing, or related field
Experience Requirements
- 1 to 4 years of experience in a similar role within a seafood or food processing environment
- Knowledge in HACCP, ISO, and GMP standards
Essential Skills
- Excellent communication skills in English and Arabic
- Ability to lead and coach a multi-functional production team
- Strong attention to yield, quality, and operational efficiency
