Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Calibration Services Manager to lead calibration service operations, metrology programs, quality systems, and technical service delivery. The ideal candidate will oversee calibration planning, laboratory performance, equipment traceability, regulatory compliance, and customer service while ensuring accurate, efficient, and standards-compliant calibration services.

Key Responsibilities
Calibration Strategy & Operations
- Develop and implement calibration services strategies, metrology programs, and quality management systems
- Lead calibration operations for mechanical, electrical, dimensional, pressure, temperature, flow, mass, and torque instruments
Compliance & Quality Systems
- Ensure calibration activities comply with ISO/IEC 17025, ISO 9001, and UAE regulatory requirements
- Oversee laboratory quality systems, equipment validation, proficiency testing, and CAPA processes
Traceability & Lifecycle Management
- Establish calibration schedules, traceability programs, uncertainty evaluations, and preventive maintenance plans
- Manage calibration records, certificates, technical documentation, and laboratory information systems
Performance Monitoring & Investigation
- Monitor KPIs including calibration turnaround time, equipment accuracy, and audit performance
- Investigate measurement discrepancies, equipment failures, and out-of-tolerance conditions
Digital Transformation & Team Leadership
- Drive digital transformation through CMS, LIMS, EAM platforms, and AI-powered predictive calibration
- Prepare calibration reports, laboratory dashboards, and executive summaries
- Lead, mentor, and develop calibration engineers, metrology specialists, and laboratory technicians
Qualifications & Requirements
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, Metrology, or a related field
- Master’s degree or certifications such as ISO/IEC 17025, ASQ CQE, or CCT are highly advantageous
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in calibration services, metrology, laboratory operations, or quality assurance
- At least 2 years of experience managing calibration laboratories or metrology teams preferred
- Strong understanding of calibration principles, measurement uncertainty, and ISO/IEC 17025 requirements
Essential Skills
- Experience with CMS, LIMS, ERP systems, Power BI, and asset management software
- Familiarity with AI-powered predictive maintenance and IIoT is advantageous
- Strong leadership, technical, analytical, and budgeting skills
- Ability to work effectively in a remote environment with distributed technical teams
