Position Overview
This Manufacturing Engineer (Assembly) role involves creating and maintaining manufacturing data such as BOMs, routings, and work instructions in Enovia PLM, providing technical support for assembly processes including drilling, fastening, and riveting, troubleshooting production issues, supporting Lean/Kaizen initiatives, coordinating tooling requirements, and managing engineering change processes for aerostructure assembly operations.

Key Responsibilities
Manufacturing Data & PLM Management
- Create and maintain manufacturing data including BOMs, routings, and work instructions
- Manage manufacturing documentation within Enovia PLM systems
Assembly Process Support
- Provide technical support for assembly processes such as drilling, fastening, and riveting
- Ensure assembly operations meet OEM standards and specifications
Troubleshooting & Continuous Improvement
- Troubleshoot production issues to minimize downtime and defects
- Support Lean and Kaizen initiatives to drive continuous process improvement
Tooling & Engineering Change Management
- Coordinate tooling requirements to support efficient assembly operations
- Manage engineering change processes with precision and cross-functional coordination
Qualifications & Requirements
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
Experience Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a similar aerospace manufacturing role
Essential Skills
- Strong knowledge of OEM standards (Airbus, Boeing, Pilatus) and assembly/painting specifications
- Proficiency in SAP, Enovia, Catia, or Delmia
- Willingness to travel to work with global customers and suppliers
