Position Overview
This Logistics Intern role supports daily Import/Export, warehousing, and domestic/regional transport activities, coordinating with logistics service providers for on-time shipment movements and regulatory compliance. You will manage inbound, outbound, inventory control, and reverse logistics, apply Lean tools to drive productivity improvements, build dashboards using Excel and Power BI, assist in performance reviews with logistics providers, support cost management including invoice checks and audits, and interpret and communicate logistics KPIs.

Key Responsibilities
Daily Logistics Operations
- Support daily Import/Export, warehousing, and domestic/regional transport activities
- Coordinate with logistics service providers to ensure on-time shipment movements and regulatory compliance
- Manage inbound, outbound, inventory control, reverse logistics, and local/regional deliveries
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Improvement
- Collaborate with Customer Service, Sales, and Materials Management to improve service delivery
- Apply Lean tools and global standards to identify root causes and drive productivity improvements
Analytics & Data Visualization
- Build dashboards and data visualizations using Excel and Power BI to support decision-making
- Interpret and communicate logistics KPIs and performance reports
Vendor Performance & Cost Management
- Assist in performance reviews with logistics service providers and follow up on corrective actions
- Support cost management activities including invoice checks, audits, and operational controls
Qualifications & Requirements
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field
- Master’s degree is a plus
Technical Skills
- Strong MS Office skills, especially Excel, Power BI, and PowerPoint
- Analytical mindset with strong numerical aptitude
- SAP knowledge is an advantage
Essential Skills
- Detail-oriented, well-organized, and comfortable working under strict deadlines
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills
