You will lead and motivate a sizeable production team, collaborate across all major business functions including R&D, Finance, Supply Chain, HR, Maintenance, Procurement, and Health & Safety, and ensure every product leaving the factory meets the highest quality standards for customers across Saudi Arabia and the Gulf.

Key Responsibilities
Production Scheduling & Day-to-Day Operations
- Draw up detailed production schedules and monitor all day-to-day manufacturing operations to ensure high-quality bakery and confectionery products are consistently produced on time and to specification
- Monitor production processes in real time and adjust schedules proactively when required to respond to demand changes, equipment issues, or material shortages without disrupting customer deliveries
- Estimate job durations, calculate production costs, and set quality standards for each product line in alignment with customer expectations and business targets
- Manage production and packaging processes through direct personal interaction — communicating clear, measurable expectations to all production team subordinates at every shift
- Track projects and resources rigorously to ensure on-time delivery of all production orders and customer commitments
Quality Audits & Standards Compliance
- Maintain and manage all product quality audits including SQMS, YUM, ISO 22000 (ISO22K), and BRCGS standards — ensuring the factory maintains certifications and consistently passes customer and third-party audits
- Assure the meeting of all quality expectations through maintaining and managing quality controls and conducting continual personal inspection of production and process outputs
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and Good Production Practices (GMP) at every stage of the manufacturing cycle without exception
- Collaborate actively with the Quality Assurance team to prepare for all audits, address audit findings, and implement corrective actions effectively and on time
TPM, Lean & Kaizen Implementation
- Develop and implement TPM (Total Productive Maintenance), Lean Manufacturing, and Kaizen concepts across all production lines to drive efficiency, reduce waste, eliminate losses, and improve overall equipment effectiveness (OEE)
- Identify and champion continuous improvement opportunities across production processes — seeking ways to improve quality and output while systematically reducing operational costs
- Coordinate with the Maintenance department to develop and execute preventative maintenance plans that minimize unplanned downtime and extend equipment life across all bakery production lines
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Maintain effective working relationships with the Management team across Materials Management, Warehouse, Sanitation, and Maintenance to ensure smooth, integrated daily production operations
- Collaborate with R&D on new recipe and product development — providing manufacturing feasibility input and meeting the commercial requirements of the marketing department
- Collaborate with HR to develop a comprehensive skills matrix, training programs, and talent development plans for the entire production team
- Collaborate with Finance to develop cost-effective bills of materials for all bakery and confectionery product lines
- Collaborate with Supply Chain to develop weekly production plans, manage inventory levels, and support cycle count accuracy
- Collaborate with Health & Safety to implement all occupational health and safety policies and procedures across the production floor
- Collaborate with Procurement to ensure raw materials and packaging materials are supplied on time and to specification to prevent production stoppages
Team Leadership & Supplier Coordination
- Supervise, motivate, and develop a team of production workers — creating a high-performance culture built on accountability, quality pride, and continuous improvement
- Coordinate delivery and review of work completed by external suppliers prior to client delivery — ensuring all outsourced production activities meet Al Rashed Foods’ quality and timeline requirements
- Provide leadership on cross-departmental problem solving, production decision-making, and risk management across all daily manufacturing operations
