Position Overview
This Hygiene & Sanitation Supervisor role at Al Rashed Food Company in Jeddah is responsible for managing all sanitation and hygiene operations across the food production plant, premises, and staff accommodation. You will coordinate cleaning schedules, train sanitation staff, control chemical and cleaning tool stocks, manage supplier relationships, generate purchase requests and follow up on purchase orders, calibrate automatic dosing systems, oversee external service contracts for solid waste, wastewater, and laundry, coordinate with the pest control company, and drive continuous development of sanitation and hygiene standards across the department.

Key Responsibilities
Cleaning Schedule Management
- Follow up with daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly cleaning activity for the plant, premises, and staff accommodation
- Ensure all areas are cleaned according to agreed schedules and sanitation standards at all times
- Train sanitation staff on all types of cleaning procedures and engage directly in cleaning activities when required
Chemical & Cleaning Tool Stock Control
- Control the chemicals stock and maintain accurate records of daily usage across the plant
- Control the cleaning tools stock and maintain daily usage tracking and replenishment
- Request and follow up with chemical and cleaning tool suppliers to maintain uninterrupted supply
- Generate Purchase Requests (PRs) and follow up with Purchase Orders (POs) through the procurement process
Automatic Dosing System & Technical Operations
- Follow up with chemical calibration for the automatic dosing system to ensure correct concentrations are maintained
- Monitor dosing system performance and escalate any calibration or technical issues promptly
External Service Contracts & Environmental Monitoring
- Monitor and follow up on solid waste management with the external service provider
- Monitor and follow up on wastewater management in compliance with regulatory requirements
- Monitor and follow up on laundry services for staff uniforms and ensure consistent service delivery
Pest Control Coordination
- Follow up with the pest control company and treatment schedule on a daily and monthly basis
- Review and maintain daily and monthly pest control reports and escalate any infestation risks to management
Sanitation Development & Continuous Improvement
- Research and develop the sanitation and hygiene department for continuous improvement of cleaning standards across the facility
- Identify gaps in current sanitation practices and propose and implement corrective actions
