Depending on the season, you could be operating sprayers, spreaders, and modern agricultural equipment, delivering fertilizer and crop products across local farms in a Class A CDL truck, supporting blending and mixing operations in the warehouse, or working directly alongside local growers to ensure they have exactly what they need to succeed. Key Responsibilities
Ag Equipment Operation — Sprayers, Spreaders & Modern Machinery
- Operate sprayers, spreaders, and other modern agricultural equipment safely and efficiently across farm locations in and around Addieville, Illinois
- Inspect and maintain equipment before, during, and after operations — identifying wear, damage, or maintenance needs and reporting them promptly to keep the fleet ready and reliable
- Follow all equipment operating procedures, safety protocols, and company guidelines to protect yourself, your teammates, customers, and the agricultural environment
- Support the team during high-demand spring planting and fall harvest seasons — when equipment availability, reliability, and operator skill are at their highest premium
CDL Truck Delivery — Fertilizer, Seed & Crop Products
- Drive Class A CDL trucks to deliver fertilizer, seed, and crop protection products directly to farm locations across Top Ag’s service area in southern Illinois
- Load and unload products safely and efficiently at the cooperative’s facilities and at customer farm locations — following all load security and safety requirements
- Maintain accurate delivery records and communicate clearly with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules, route updates, and any issues encountered in the field
- Operate all CDL vehicles in full compliance with DOT regulations, company safety policies, and state traffic laws at all times during deliveries
Blending, Mixing & Warehouse Operations
- Assist with the blending and mixing of fertilizer and crop input products — following precise formulation instructions to ensure accurate product composition for every customer order
- Support warehouse operations including product receiving, inventory organization, accurate storage, and order fulfillment during peak planting and application seasons
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment — following all product handling, chemical safety, and storage requirements at all times
- Contribute to accurate inventory tracking and help identify any product shortfalls, damaged stock, or storage issues that require management attention
Customer & Grower Support
- Work directly with local growers and customers in a professional, helpful manner — representing Top Ag Cooperative’s commitment to service, reliability, and agricultural community support
- Assist customers with product questions, delivery scheduling, and on-farm logistics — ensuring every interaction reflects the cooperative’s values of hard work, integrity, and community focus
- Support the broader team during the cooperative’s busiest spring and fall operating periods — stepping up with overtime availability and a flexible, team-first attitude when the business needs it

- Valid Class A CDL license — an absolute requirement for this position; candidates without a current, valid Class A CDL will not be considered
