 Role Scope — Full Plant Operations Coverage

Production Oversight: Bird reception, slaughtering, cutting, evisceration, chilling, freezing, packaging, and dispatch

Quality Control: Grading, portioning, deboning, packaging, and product handling compliance

People Management: Workforce planning, attendance, shift allocation, performance evaluation, and training

Budget & Cost Control Support

  • Assist in monitoring departmental expenditures and ensuring all operations remain within approved budget parameters.
  • Support tracking of cost variances and prepare preliminary financial analysis reports for review by the Processing Plant Manager.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce waste, improve material utilization, and enhance operational cost efficiency across the plant.

Policies, Procedures & Compliance

  • Support the implementation of departmental policies and procedures in full compliance with organizational standards, food safety regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Ensure all production teams strictly adhere to established SOPs across every processing activity and shift.
  • Assist in coordinating external audits, regulatory inspections, and certification activities for the processing facility.

People Management & Team Leadership

  • Assist in workforce planning and coordination with HR for staffing requirements across production shifts and departments.
  • Support monitoring of attendance records, leave planning, and manpower allocation to ensure optimum shift coverage.

Qualifications & Requirements

Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Science, Poultry Science, Food Science, Food Technology, or a closely related field — mandatory

Experience Requirements
