 Position Overview

This senior QHSE Manager role at Mazzraty Group represents one of the most comprehensive quality, safety, and environmental leadership positions available in Qatar’s agri-food sector in 2026. You will take full ownership of QHSE systems across multi-site operations — from poultry farms and processing lines to warehouses and transport logistics — while driving a proactive safety culture that protects people, products, and the environment.

The ideal candidate brings deep expertise across food safety standards, occupational health and safety management, and environmental compliance, with the leadership ability to manage diverse teams and coordinate with Qatar’s regulatory authorities effectively.

Why This Role Matters: As QHSE Manager at Mazzraty Group, you will be responsible for protecting Qatar’s food supply chain at the source — overseeing poultry production safety, biosecurity, worker health, and environmental sustainability across the entire operation. With Qatar’s Vision 2030 placing food security and agricultural self-sufficiency at the national agenda’s heart, this role carries strategic importance far beyond standard QHSE management.

Key Responsibilities

Quality & Food Safety Management

  • Develop and implement QHSE policies, procedures, and standards specifically tailored to poultry operations and food production.
  • Ensure full compliance with HACCP, GMP, ISO 22000, and Qatar food safety regulations across all production activities.
  • Monitor poultry production processes to maintain product quality, hygiene, and food safety standards at every stage.
  • Supervise sanitation and cleaning programs across all poultry facilities, processing lines, and storage areas.
  • Ensure proper temperature control, cold chain monitoring, and full product traceability from farm to dispatch.
  • Conduct routine inspections and internal audits of farms, processing lines, warehouses, and transportation activities.
  • Investigate product quality issues and implement robust corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Ensure strict compliance with biosecurity measures to prevent contamination, disease spread, and cross-infection risks.
  • Coordinate microbiological testing and quality control activities with the laboratory team.

Health & Safety Management

  • Develop and enforce occupational health and safety policies to prevent workplace accidents, injuries, and occupational illnesses.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments across farms, poultry facilities, warehouses, workshops, and office environments.
  • Ensure proper safety procedures for machinery, equipment, chemicals, electrical systems, confined spaces, and lifting operations.
  • Monitor PPE compliance and enforce safe working practices across all teams and contractor workforces.
  • Lead accident investigations, root cause analysis processes, and corrective action implementation to prevent recurrence.
  • Review all accident and incident reports, identify trends, and ensure proportionate responses are implemented.
  • Organize and conduct emergency response drills, fire evacuation procedures, and first aid readiness programs.
  • Develop and deliver safety induction programs and continuous employee safety training and awareness campaigns.
  • Promote a proactive safety culture that encourages all staff to take personal ownership of workplace safety.
  • Monitor contractor safety performance and compliance with company and regulatory safety standards.

Environmental Responsibilities

  • Ensure full compliance with Qatar’s environmental regulations, sustainability standards, and Ministry of Environment & Climate Change (MECC) requirements.
  • Monitor waste management, wastewater disposal, emissions, and environmental risks across all operations.
  • Implement environmentally responsible practices and resource optimization initiatives throughout the organization.
  • Prepare and submit required reports to MECC in accordance with Consent to Operate obligations and timelines.
  • Support sustainability programs aligned with Qatar Vision 2030 environmental and agricultural goals.

Compliance, Reporting & Documentation

  • Ensure compliance with all Qatar regulatory authorities, food safety bodies, and industry certification requirements.
  • Prepare and present QHSE reports, KPIs, incident summaries, and management-level performance presentations.
  • Coordinate and manage external audits, regulatory inspections, and ISO certification processes.
  • Maintain comprehensive QHSE documentation, records, permits, and certifications in an audit-ready state.
  • Monitor and report on QHSE management system effectiveness and recommend improvements to senior leadership.
  • Maintain accurate records of incidents, near misses, inspections, and key safety statistics over time.
