Position Overview
This Extrusion Mixer role involves receiving raw materials and verifying batch numbers, quantities and weights, preparing mixes per shift instructions and quality guidelines, feeding mixtures into the mixing machine and setting parameters, placing mixed product into the elevator and informing the operator, closing work orders and entering data into the system, starting job changeover processes, following shift handover instructions, and maintaining a safe, clean workspace throughout.

Key Responsibilities
Material Receiving & Preparation
- Receive raw material (batch number, quantity, product) and verify weights
- Prepare the mix as per Shift In Charge instructions and quality guidelines
Mixing Machine Operation
- Feed the mixture into the mixing machine and set the machine parameters
- Place the mix into the elevator and inform the operator/shift in charge
Documentation & Job Changeover
- Close the work order (close bags), check weights and enter data into the system
- Start the job changeover process
- Follow shift handover instructions
Safety & Workspace Standards
- Maintain a safe and clean workspace by complying with safety procedures and quality regulations
Qualifications & Requirements
Educational Requirements
- High School Certificate or Technical Diploma
Experience Requirements
- 2+ years of production experience in extrusion (polymer industry preferred)
Essential Skills
- Basic computer and arithmetic skills
- Good communication and teamwork
- Strong focus on safety and following procedures
- Ability to work in a powder chemical environment
