Key Responsibilities
Laboratory Supervision & Team Leadership
- Supervise laboratory operations and lead the food testing and analysis team on a day-to-day basis
- Manage laboratory workflows, staff assignments, and operational priorities to ensure timely and accurate delivery of results
- Foster a culture of accuracy, quality, and continuous improvement within the laboratory team
Food Testing & Analytical Operations
- Oversee food testing and analysis activities ensuring all testing is conducted in accordance with approved methods and standards
- Operate and maintain analytical devices and instruments with strong technical proficiency
- Ensure all analytical results meet required accuracy, precision, and compliance standards before release
ISO/IEC 17025 Compliance & Quality Management
- Ensure laboratory operations comply with ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation requirements and quality management procedures
- Maintain strong knowledge of quality, accuracy, and compliance procedures across all laboratory processes
- Support internal and external audits and implement corrective actions as required
Qualifications & Requirements
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related scientific discipline
Experience Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of work experience in laboratory environments
- Previous experience supervising laboratories or leading laboratory teams
- Previous experience in food testing and analysis laboratories is preferable
