  • Perform inspections and damage surveys as required by client engagements and the Operations Manager
  • Review audit reports and sample analysis reports for accuracy, completeness, and compliance before submission

  • Train new auditors and back-office coordinators — assessing and qualifying trainees to SGS standards and applicable food safety scheme requirements
  • Review new client requirements and deliver targeted training sessions to auditors to ensure technical readiness and compliance
  • Communicate office policies and new scheme requirements clearly to all auditors while actively fostering teamwork and a collaborative culture
  • Support the professional development of the audit team through mentoring, knowledge sharing, and continuous technical guidance

  • Provide technical and operational support to clients by addressing their requirements and integrating them into the audit coordination process
  • Report to the Operations Manager on any deviations in job processing or execution, and any issues impacting administrative, operational, or financial performance
  • Monitor business trends and support budget forecasting in line with Operations Manager direction and SGS business objectives

Quality, Root Cause Analysis & HSE Compliance

  • Conduct structured root cause analysis for client claims and complaints related to audit scheduling and execution — identifying systemic issues and improvement opportunities
  • Consolidate auditor inputs and update the Profiler database, ensuring all relevant technical information is shared with the Technical Manager for evaluation
  • Promote and monitor effective risk management practices across all audit and inspection activities in line with SGS standards
  • Maintain and update HSE policies and procedures — ensuring full implementation of HSE requirements in daily operations and halting any unsafe activity immediately
