Position Overview
This Food Safety & Hygiene Specialist role at SEVEN in Riyadh ensures all food and beverage operations within the company’s attractions and cinemas comply with relevant food safety and hygiene regulations. You will implement and maintain the Food Safety Management System (FSMS), conduct regular site inspections, verify supplier certifications including ISO and other food safety standards, support hygiene protocol implementation, conduct audits, and assist in training staff across all SEVEN sites.

Key Responsibilities
Food Safety & Hygiene Compliance
- Ensure all food and beverage operations within SEVEN’s Attractions and Cinemas comply with relevant food safety and hygiene regulations and guidelines
- Implement and maintain the Food Safety Management System (FSMS) across all operations
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure ongoing adherence to hygiene standards and regulations
Supplier Certification & Sustainability
- Verify that suppliers hold relevant certifications such as ISO and other applicable food safety standards
- Conduct regular supplier inspections to ensure food safety standards are consistently met
- Support sustainability and environmental impact objectives within the food supply chain
Hygiene Standards Implementation & Auditing
- Support the implementation of hygiene protocols and standards across all SEVEN sites
- Conduct audits and assessments to maintain consistent hygiene practices across attractions and cinema locations
- Identify gaps and recommend corrective actions to maintain high standards across all venues
Staff Awareness & Training Support
- Assist in training staff on food safety and hygiene practices across SEVEN’s diverse site teams
- Ensure staff across attractions and cinemas are informed about relevant safety guidelines and procedures
- Promote a culture of food safety awareness and hygiene compliance throughout the organisation
Qualifications & Requirements
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Microbiology, Chemistry, Nutrition, or an equivalent field
- Master’s degree in Microbiology, Chemistry, Nutrition, or equivalent is preferred
Professional Certifications
- Professional certificate in Food Safety Level 3 and above
- ISO 22000 Lead Auditor certification preferred
- HACCP Level 3 Certification preferred
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in food safety, hygiene, or a related compliance role
- Experience in similar entities — entertainment, hospitality, food service, or multi-site environments — is preferred
