Position Overview
The GR Booking Material Handler organizes and monitors internal and external order schedules and consolidates deliveries for customers according to the requirements of the Logistics Supervisor, Production and Material Planning Supervisor, and Customs & Transport Associate, including setting expedition priorities and ensuring accurate transport documentation for domestic and international customers.
Why This Role Matters: As GR Booking Material Handler, you organize and monitor internal and external order schedules, setting expedition priorities that keep deliveries on track, manage proper storage and sorting of shipment items as part of goods delivery preparation, check shipping orders and visually inspect product labels in cooperation with Quality Control, accurately create transport documents in SAP for domestic and international customers, maintain up-to-date packaging material records and ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards, and build specialized logistics expertise within one of the world’s largest trade and supply chain enablers.
Key Responsibilities
Order Scheduling & Delivery Consolidation
- Organize and monitor internal and external order schedules, consolidating deliveries for customers
- Set expedition priorities in coordination with Logistics, Production, and Customs teams
Shipment Preparation & Quality Checks
- Ensure proper storage and sorting of shipment items as part of goods delivery preparation
- Check shipping orders and visually inspect product labels to identify non-conformities with Quality Control
Documentation & SAP Management
- Accurately create transport documents (delivery notes, shipping documents, transport orders, pickup orders) in SAP
- Maintain up-to-date records of packaging materials (pallets)
Compliance & Safety
- Ensure compliance with legal norms and internal standards related to occupational safety, fire protection, and environmental protection
Qualifications & Requirements
Educational Requirements
- Minimum secondary education (Level III or higher)
Experience Requirements
- Preferably 3 years of work experience in similar positions (e.g., product packaging)
Essential Skills
- Knowledge of SAP and MS Office package (Excel, Word)
- High level of communication skills
- Forklift Driving License
