Position Overview
This Lab Technician (Beverage) position places you at the center of ADM Nutrition’s beverage innovation pipeline in Dubai, UAE. You will be responsible for producing and adapting beverage taste samples, handling fine chemicals with precision, and collaborating with cross-functional teams across EMEA. You’ll coordinate customer projects from brief to delivery, maintaining strict adherence to safety, quality, and project deadlines — all while contributing to exciting beverage trends and new flavor applications that reach customers worldwide.

Key Responsibilities
Beverage Application Lab Support
- Play a key part in supporting ADM Nutrition’s beverage application lab in Dubai with daily lab operations
- Contribute directly to flavor creation and finished beverage application development for customer briefs
- Fully understand ADM Nutrition’s complete product and service portfolio to apply knowledge effectively
- Stay updated on emerging beverage trends and consumer demands to drive innovative solutions
Taste Sample Production & Adaptation
- Produce and adapt beverage taste samples based on specific customer requirements and project briefs
- Modify ADM products according to technical specifications and then release samples for customer evaluation
- Handle fine chemicals responsibly, maintaining precise, disciplined, and safety-first working practices at all times
- Document all lab work, modifications, and results accurately for internal records and customer reporting
Customer Project Coordination
- Take full ownership of coordinating customer projects from initial brief through to timely sample delivery
- Ensure all project work aligns with agreed deadlines, safety requirements, and organisational goals
- Communicate project progress clearly and proactively with internal stakeholders and customer-facing teams
- Manage multiple customer projects simultaneously while maintaining consistent quality standards
Cross-Functional EMEA Collaboration
- Collaborate and communicate across departments throughout the EMEA region on shared projects and innovations
- Liaise regularly with ADM’s product development headquarters in Germany for technical alignment
- Work closely with other application labs and the commercial sales team to ensure cohesive project delivery
- Build strong professional relationships across borders, cultures, and functional teams

Qualifications & Requirements
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (BS) in Food Science and Technology, Chemistry, or Pharmacy from an accredited university
- Additional certifications or postgraduate qualifications in food science or beverage technology are a plus
Experience Requirements
- Ideally first experience in product development and beverage application within a food science or FMCG environment
- Basic but solid knowledge of product processing and the interaction of ingredients in beverage formulations
- Familiarity with customer-facing sample development and release processes is highly advantageous

- Excellent project management skills — ability to coordinate timelines, tasks, and deliverables with precision
- Excellent written and spoken English and Arabic for confident communication across EMEA teams
